Leadership Summit 2008-2009 September 6-11, 2008 Attendees: Kim Hughes, Kim Fisher, Don Wilson, Tracy Maycock, and Veronica Mitchum Forum: Virtual
Decision Summary An additional position will be added to the committee for a Development Director. This individual will be responsible for a variety of development activities and must acquire the following capabilities: To assist with the initiation, development, and strengthening of quiz programs Requires passion, creativity, availability to assist quiz programs as needed Knowledge of quizzing Willingness to utilize and leverage technologies to reach target audiences Change the quiz dates to the last Saturday of the year (except when in conflict with a holiday in which case the quiz will be moved to the Saturday immediately preceding the last Saturday of the month. Geographical placement of the tournaments and venues will remain as initially set forth (Quiz Fest in the Portland area and the Best in the West and the Emerald City Tournament in the Seattle area – rotating venues in Seattle), this item will be reassessed and success will be analyzed at the 2009-2010 Leadership Summit. Executive Committee and State Committee positions terms will be two years in length. No one member may serve more than three consecutive terms in a single position.

Addendum: September 16, 2008 The decision to conduct the quiz tournaments on the last Saturday of the month has been reversed. ~VM |
